


Projected water price increases are based on assumed interest rates and consumption patterns. It reflects the cost to significantly upgrade infrastructure to sustain water resources, which will include improved water security for South East Queensland delivered by the $9 billion water grid, desalination, purified recycled water, new storages and the regional pipeline network. Proposed price increase estimates exclude the effect of inflation.
