Ken Bird has been serving the community in a business and voluntary capacity for over 35 years. As founder of Artesian Plumbing, Ken has instilled in his team a dedication and commitment to deliver professional, honest service, resulting in 100% client satisfaction.
Ken's dedication to community service was recognized with the honour of being awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2004 for his service to Surf Lifesaving as an Executive Member, Official and Administrator. Ken is currently the President of Surf Lifesaving Queensland.
Artesian Plumbing is a long standing member of the Queensland Master Plumbers Association and QSBA (Licence Number 045761). Our stable team of tradesmen, apprentices and office support has enabled Artesian Plumbing to sustain and build a loyal client base over a 25 year period.

Our team continually undertakes additional product and technical training to make certain we provide the correct short and long term solutions for our clients, from an economical and environmental perspective. Within the current ‘climate’ it has never been more important when making purchasing decisions to take into account the long term operating cost hitting the household budget and the long term impact to the environment. Solutions such solar hot water systems are more expensive to purchase and install, however they pay for themselves with much cheaper running costs compared with conventional hot water systems.
